Google Ads budget calculator
Work backwards from the sales you want: how many orders, how many clicks, and what those clicks will cost.
How it works
Orders needed = sales target ÷ average order value. Clicks needed = orders ÷ conversion rate. Budget = clicks × cost per click. The daily figure divides the monthly budget by 30.4, the average number of days in a month.
Check the resulting ROAS against your break-even ROAS. If it is lower, the plan loses money at today's conversion rate and cost per click.
The figures pre-filled are examples. Your own conversion rate and cost per click are in your Google Ads account.
